Grand Hogback Extravaganza 2022
Where: Grand Hogback Trail System, Rifle Arch Trailhead
Highway 13, 7 miles north of Rifle.

Check in opens at 8:00 am
Ride start times 9:00-10:00 am
Ride end time is noon
Kids race starts a 10:15 (a much shorter version of the adult race)

Back by popular demand, come sweeten your morning with RAMBO as we host our second annual Grand Hogback Extravaganza. CAUTION- this is NOT a race but a FUNRAISER, a social ride of sorts so make sure to bring a friend or even better, make it a group ride!
As a participant, you choose when you want to start your ride between 9:00-10:00 am. You will be assigned a colored plate to place on your bike and will stop at stations along the marked route to collect points by playing a game of Candyland. Don’t worry, we will explain it all to you when you check in and we guarantee you will have a good time.
While we understand that the Grand Hogback Trail network is not the easiest trail for the littles to ride, we will hold a short, kid friendly race right at 10:15 am, after the last adult rider goes out onto the trails. There is NO registration fee for those kiddos that would like to participate and we will make sure everyone gets a prize.
Costumes are highly encouraged! Prizes will be given to the BEST COSTUME! Think Veruca Salt, Shirley Temple, Willy Wonka, Oompa Loompa or Def Leppard. The themes are endless.
There will be food, tasty beverages, and a raffle so bring your camp chairs and plan on hanging out with us. Remember, all proceeds from your registration and donations go towards offsetting the costs of building out the Grand Hogback Trail network. We truly couldn't do this without you all.
THE BORING STUFF:
PARKING IS LIMITED so please carpool. We can’t encourage this anymore than we can right here, right now. Last year we maxed out and we anticipate a bigger showing this year! Please help us with this logistical issue by carpooling so everyone can park in the BLM lot. Parking on Highway 13 is not an option.
Pre-registration is encouraged on itsyourrace.com but should you not pre-register, not a big deal, just bring EXACT CHANGE.
